The parameters of the creative brief were to create a social media post for the quote "God is Within Her She Will Not Fall" from Psalms 46:5. The objective was to convey the message and feeling through meaningful contrast in the typography. When I designed this I knew I wanted to do a play on words with the type overlap, placing the phrase "God is Within" on top of "Her" to convey the strong meaning. This piece was made in Adobe Illustrator and was posted on Instagram.

Two alternate color palettes that I didn't end up going with because their strong contrast became too overwhelming for the reassuring message.

Three digital black-and-white roughs I made to see which iteration would work the best.

These are my thumbnails for this project, I wanted to work on contrast and placement to convey different meanings when focussing on different parts of the phrase. I ended up choosing thumbnail #4 because of the overlap and the contrast between the two bold and thin fonts.
